FAQ

Questions & Answers

Is access to the dance course time limited?

No, access to every online first dance course is permanent and unlimited. After buying one, you can learn wherever and whenever you want without any restrictions.

Learning time is a very individual matter. Adjust your learning time to the difficulty of the choreography and your skills. If you have never danced before or if you don’t have much time to learn – choose a simpler routine that you can dance calmly and without much stress.

If you dream of a more difficult routine, start learning early. It is worth being aware that in case of more difficult combinations and lifts, technique and sometimes fitness level also play an important role.

The optimal time to start learning dance is 2-3 months, while in the case of more difficult choreographies, where you want to put on a show, it may be even 5-6 months.

On our website, you will find first dance choreographies that you can master in 2-3 weeks, or even in a week in an emergency situation. But remember – this is LAST MINUTE option, not an optimal one.

In each of our first dance courses you will find a detailed explanation of figures and steps from scratch. However, we recommend that you start learning to dance earlier, because in the last few weeks before your wedding you will probably be busy with other things.

It is also worth setting a goal to master the choreography at least 2 weeks before the wedding. Thanks to this, in case of any pre-wedding confusion, you will still have time to prepare for the dance.

Write us a message on Facebook, Instagram or e-mail info@dancefromhome.pl with the title of your dream wedding dance song.

If it’s a new or popular song – there’s a good chance the choreography will appear soon on our website. However, if it is a niche song for which we have not had any previous inquiries – unfortunately, due to the high costs of recording and editing, we do not choreograph individual orders.

However, we have prepared a great alternative for you! We have created an improvisation course for the first dance, where we teach all the most popular figures and steps, lifts and several propositions for the beginning and ending. Based on this, you can create your own unique choreography for the first dance: https://dancefromhome.com/courses/create-your-choreography/

It depends on your choreography for the first dance. The safe space is 2m x 3m. It is worth mentioning that all the choreographies for the first dance were created at our home. We usually move the table to have more space for exercise, so if you need it, you can also slightly rearrange your house/apartment.

Of course – in every course that involves lift, we also include an equally effective lift alternative.

Additionally, if the lift is more challenging, and you would like to perform the lift in your first dance, we also add an easier lift option. Moreover, you can purchase our Lifts and Substitutes course to achieve access to a variety of lifts – from the simplest to the most difficult ones.

Don’t worry, we thought about you too! We have created several LAST MINUTE choreographies that you will master in a very short time. If you have extremely little time left to learn (e.g. there is a wedding in a week or two), we offer our simplest choreography: Hallelujah – ideal for a slow and romantic first dance.

Perfect (easier version) – one of the most romantic songs ever and probably the most popular choice for the first dance. You can master this choreography within a week.

If you prefer something more dynamic, we recommend Stumblin In – joyful and energetic, yet easy to learn.

Whether you have two left feet will be revealed after the course ;) However, if you don’t feel good on the dance floor, and you don’t have much time left to learn, we offer three choreographies that are the easiest to learn:

-Hallelujah – slow and romantic choreography for the first dance.
-Perfect (easier version) – romantic choreography based on waltz
-Stumblin In – joyful and energetic choreography for the first dance

If you start early enough (you have 2-3 months to learn) and you want choreography that is easy to learn, we especially recommend:
-You are the reason (check especially our easier version)
-Until I found you
-Dancing in the moonlight
-Livetime
-Unchained Melody
-Dandelions
-Your song
-La vie en rose

Remember that each of our choreographies was created with beginner dancers in mind. In each course you will find detailed step-by-step instructions. Our choreographies are impressive, but also easy to learn. If you dream of a wedding dance song that is not on the list above, but you have plenty of time left, go ahead! Choose the routine and song you like best.

Of course! Send us video from your exercises to info@dancefromhome.com
We will come back to you with any comments and suggestions.
